SEC Selective Disclosure Conference Call
Friday, February 25, 2000 at 2:30 PM Eastern Time
This conference call is taking place on behalf of The Business Roundtable's
Corporate Governance Task Force with Harvey Goldschmid, former General
Counsel of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). The purpose of the
call is to review the SEC's recent proposed rules on selective disclosure
and to discuss some of the effects of these rules that may need further
clarification.
The Business Roundtable is an association of chief executive officers of
leading corporations with a combined workforce of more than 10 million
employees in the United States. The chief executives are committed to
advocating public policies that foster vigorous economic growth; a dynamic
global economy; and a well-trained and productive U.S. workforce essential
